Mission

ReVision Dance and Yoga Studio seeks to lead the dance and yoga communities of the Upstate by supporting and advancing inclusive dance practices and increasing BIPOC presence in dance and yoga instruction and in student presence.

Our mission is based on the following core beliefs:

• Dance is an art form that allows those who may not be able to articulate themselves verbally an opportunity to express themselves through movement. 

• Making dance affordable and accessible is critical to addressing social inequities in traditional studios.

• Diversity in the instruction of the arts, particularly in dance and yoga, is imperative to empowering the next generation of students and propelling the dance and yoga communities forward.

• Commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion must be systemic and engage multiple stakeholders

• Community support is essential to bringing dance and yoga to underserved communities.
